We have live music at least once a week. If you are interested in playing at The Independent send your request with some of your music. Please note we look for those with original tunes (solo's, duo's and trio's) and do not typically book cover bands. If we feel like its a good fit for our programming we will give you a shout back with some dates!

Independent is a small neighborhood bar & kitchen, not a full time music venue. While we do have a small portable P.A., bands are responsible for running their own sound. In booking we lean towards Indie, Folk, Americana, Bluegrass and genres of the like.
